Santa Cruz Valley Dust Devils (Eloy, AZ) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Tempe Prep Knights (Tempe, AZ), 45-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Santa Cruz Valley upgrades its record to 3-6 on the season. The Dust Devils host Horizon Honors (Phoenix, AZ) to clash with the Eagles in a bout on Thursday, January 11. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Horizon Honors won 56-17 in their recent non-league bout against Scottsdale Preparatory Academy (Scottsdale, AZ)

Next up, the Knights clash with the Santa Cruz Valley Dust Devils (Eloy, AZ) in a bout, on Friday, January 26. Tempe Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
