The Woodson Cavaliers basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting West Springfield Spartans to 51 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Cavaliers now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fairfax for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 11. Woodson will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 59-42 non-league loss to West Potomac (Alexandria, VA). The Lions record now stands at 3-4.
The Spartans now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Robinson for a non-league outing on Friday, January 12. West Springfield will clash with a Rams squad coming off a 58-53 non-league loss to South County (Lorton, VA). The Rams record now stands at 0-7.
