The crowd at Monday's non-league test between the Maranatha Minutemen (Pasadena, CA) and the host Western Christian Fighting Lancers (Upland, CA), saw Maranatha's soccer squad triumph over Western Christian by a margin of 8-1.

The Minutemen now sport a 9-1 record. They play next when they travel to Whittier Christian for a test on Friday, January 12.

With the loss, Western Christian drops to 0-2 on the season. The Fighting lancers host The Webb Schools (Claremont, CA) to meet the Gauls in a test on Tuesday, January 9. The Gauls come into the test with a record of 0-2.
