In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Baldwin Panthers basketball team scored a big 58-29 triumph over the Mesick Bulldogs.

The Panthers (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Muskegon Heights (Muskegon Heights, MI). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Muskegon Heights was trounced by Benzie Central (Benzonia, MI), 72-62, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the Marion Eagles (Marion, MI) in a West Michigan D contest, on Friday, January 10. Mesick will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 5-3 record after their 57-27 league win over Mason County Eastern (Custer, MI).
