California High School Basketball - Westmont routs Branham

In Wednesday's league contest, the host Westmont Warriors basketball team scored a big 84-50 triumph over the Branham Bruins.

The Warriors (11-3) will now prepare for their contest against Pioneer (San Jose, CA). The Mustangs go into the Blossom Valley - Mt. Hamilton contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Pioneer was trounced by Leigh (San Jose, CA), 55-47, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bruins confront the Christopher Cougars (Gilroy, CA) in a Blossom Valley - Mt. Hamilton contest, on Friday, January 10. Branham will attempt to better on its 5-8 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 11-2 record after their 36-33 non-league loss to Soquel (Soquel, CA).
