Maryland High School Basketball - Walkersville holds off Brunswick

The Walkersville Lions basketball team scored 50 points and limited the host Brunswick Railroaders to 48 in the Lions league triumph on Wednesday.
The Lions now have a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Williamsport for a CMC game on Friday, January 10. Walkersville will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 58-38 league win over Boonsboro (Boonsboro, MD). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-1.
With the loss, Brunswick falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Railroaders travel to Middletown (Middletown, MD) to confront the Knights in a CMC game on Friday, January 10. The Knights go into the game with a record of 3-5.
