The Lancers (11-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Whittier (Whittier, CA). The Cardinals come into the Del Rio challenge with a 9-9 record. In their last challenge, Whittier dropped by Blair (Pasadena, CA), 82-61, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Dons battle the California Condors (Whittier, CA) in a Del Rio challenge, on Friday, January 10. El Rancho will attempt to improve on its 11-9 season record. The Condors come into the challenge with a 9-11 record after their 65-23 league win over Santa Fe (Santa Fe Springs, CA).
