The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Grace Lancers (Simi Valley, CA) and the host Laguna Blanca Owls (Santa Barbara, CA), observed Grace's basketball team overwhelm Laguna Blanca by a margin of 62-37.

The Lancers (7-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Desert Christian (Lancaster, CA). The Knights go into the non-league bout with a 1-11 record. In their last bout, Desert Christian was ripped by Faith Baptist (Canoga Park, CA), 81-28, in a league bout.

With the loss, Laguna Blanca falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Owls travel to Foothill Tech (Ventura, CA) to play the Dragons in a Frontier bout on Friday, January 10. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 7-12. Foothill Tech won 75-40 in their recent non-league game against Hueneme (Oxnard, CA)
