Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Hamburg knocks off Schuylkill Valley

In Wednesday's league contest, the host Hamburg Hawks basketball team scored a good 65-56 win over the Schuylkill Valley Panthers.

The Hawks (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Brandywine Heights Area (Topton, PA). The Bullets come into the Berks County 3 contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Brandywine Heights Area was topped by Octorara Area (Atglen, PA), 70-50, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Kutztown Cougars (Kutztown, PA) in a Berks County 3 contest, on Friday, January 10. Schuylkill Valley will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Cougars come into the contest with a 2-6 record after their 76-54 non-league loss to Northwestern Lehigh (New Tripoli, PA).
