Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Sheffield nudges Kane

The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Sheffield Wolverines (Sheffield, PA) and the host Kane Wolves (Kane, PA), observed Sheffield's basketball team edge Kane by a score of 35-30.

The Wolverines (1-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Cranberry Area (Seneca, PA). The Berries come into the non-league challenge with a 8-4 record. In their last challenge, Cranberry Area edged Clarion-Limestone (Strattanville, PA), 89-51, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Wolves encounter the DuBois Central Catholic Cardinals (DuBois, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 10. Kane will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 42-35 non-league loss to Clarion Area (Clarion, PA).
