The Wister Wildcats basketball team scored 73 points and limited the visiting Leflore Savages to 37 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Wildcats now possess a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to Panama for a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. Wister will play a Razorbacks team coming off a 73-37 league win over Buffalo Valley (Talihina, OK). The Razorbacks record now stands at 10-1.

With the loss, Leflore falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Savages host Red Oak (Red Oak, OK) to play the Eagles in a Rock Island game on Tuesday, January 14. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 10-4. Red Oak won 45-33 in their recent non-league game against Howe (Howe, OK)
