Georgia High School Basketball - Manchester thwarts Macon County

January 8, 2025: Manchester, GA 31816

The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Manchester Blue Devils (Manchester, GA) and the visiting Macon County Bulldogs (Montezuma, GA), observed Manchester's basketball team knock off Macon County by a score of 69-53.

The Blue Devils (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Trion (Trion, GA). The Bulldogs come into the A D2 Region 7 challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Trion dropped by Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, GA), 57-52, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the Crawford County Eagles (Roberta, GA) in a A D2 Region 6 challenge, on Friday, January 10. Macon County will attempt to improve on its 9-3 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 54-52 league win over Marion County (Buena Vista, GA).
