Texas High School Basketball - Milby trounced by Waltrip

Waltrip Rams (Houston, TX) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Milby Buffs (Houston, TX), 78-49 in a league match.

With the victory, Waltrip advances its record to 10-8 on the year. The Rams host Spring Woods (Houston, TX) to face the Tigers in a 5A Region III District 21 match on Friday, January 10. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 13-6. Spring Woods won 69-60 in their recent non-league match against Cesar E. Chavez (Houston, TX)

The Buffs now own a 5-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sharpstown for a 5A Region III District 21 match on Saturday, January 11. Milby will face a Apollos squad coming off a 72-18 league loss to Sterling (Houston, TX). The Apollos record now stands at 1-12.
