Norwich Purple Tornado (Norwich, NY) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Windsor Central Black Knights (Windsor, NY), 60-53 in a league match.
With the victory, Norwich advances its record to 7-1 on the year. The Purple Tornado host Oneonta (Oneonta, NY) to meet the Yellowjackets in a Section 4 Southern Tier - East match on Saturday, January 11. The Yellowjackets enter the match with a record of 2-0.
The Black Knights now own a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Susquehanna Valley for a Section 4 Southern Tier - East match on Friday, January 10.
