North Carolina High School Basketball - Oxford Prep trounced by Vance Charter

The Oxford Prep Griffins basketball squad (Oxford, NC), was crushed 69-48 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Vance Charter Knights (Henderson, NC)

With the victory, Vance Charter advances its record to 5-3 on the year. The Knights travel to Excelsior Classical Academy (Durham, NC) to meet the Flying Lions in a 1A Triangle North battle on Tuesday, January 14. The Flying Lions enter the battle with a record of 7-4. Excelsior Classical Academy lost 57-40 in their recent league battle against Eno River Academy (Hillsborough, NC)

The Griffins now own a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Discovery Charter School for a non-league battle on Friday, January 10.
