The Pope John Paul II Jaguars (Slidell, LA) basketball were winner over the visiting Riverside Academy Rebels (Reserve, LA), 51-38 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Jaguars now possess a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Benjamin Franklin for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 9. Pope John Paul II will play a Falcons team coming off a 54-26 non-league loss to Willow (New Orleans, LA). The Falcons record now stands at 4-14.
With the loss, Riverside Academy falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Northlake Christian (Covington, LA) to play the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Friday, January 10. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 11-10. Northlake Christian lost 58-28 in their recent non-league bout against Parkview Baptist (Baton Rouge, LA)
