With the victory, Wheeling Central Catholic upgrades its record to 7-1 on the year. The Maroon Knights travel to Oak Glen (New Cumberland, WV) to face the Golden Bears in a Freelance match on Tuesday, January 14. The Golden Bears enter the match with a record of 4-6. Oak Glen lost 64-61 in their recent non-league match against Madonna (Weirton, WV)

The Cadets now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to SPIRE Academy for a non-league match on Saturday, January 11. Linsly will face a SPIRE squad coming off a 59-38 non-league loss to Warrensville Heights (Warrensville, OH). The SPIRE record now stands at 3-7.
