In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Franklin Wildcats basketball team scored a close 50-44 triumph over the Cosumnes Oaks Wolfpack.
The Wildcats (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Pleasant Grove (Elk Grove, CA). The Eagles go into the contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Pleasant Grove was tipped by Franklin (Elk Grove, CA), 57-44, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Wolfpack battle the Sheldon Huskies (Sacramento, CA) in a contest, on Friday, January 10. Cosumnes Oaks will attempt to better on its 5-7 season record. The Huskies go into the contest with a 12-5 record after their 39-36 league win over Monterey Trail (Elk Grove, CA).
