Washington High School Basketball - Lakes holds off Peninsula

The Lakes Lancers basketball team scored 75 points and limited the host Peninsula Seahawks to 70 in the Lancers league triumph on Wednesday.
The Lancers now have a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Mount Tahoma for a game on Friday, January 10. Lakes will confront a T-Birds team coming off a 53-26 non-league loss to Gig Harbor (Gig Harbor, WA). The T-Birds record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Peninsula falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Seahawks travel to Gig Harbor (Gig Harbor, WA) to confront the Tides in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 15. The Tides go into the game with a record of 7-2.
