The Palm Desert Aztecs basketball team scored 71 points and limited the host Rancho Mirage Rattlers to 38 in the Aztecs league triumph on Wednesday.
The Aztecs now have a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to Calexico for a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. Palm Desert will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 48-29 non-league loss to Calipatria (Calipatria, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-2.
With the loss, Rancho Mirage falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Rattlers host Arcadia (Arcadia, CA) to confront the Apaches in a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. The Apaches go into the game with a record of 7-1.
