The Berlin Mountaineers basketball team scored 29 points and limited the host Belmont Red Raiders to 23 in the Mountaineers league triumph on Wednesday.

The Mountaineers now have a 6-1 record. They play next when they host Gorham for a non-league game on Friday, January 10.

With the loss, Belmont falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Red raiders host Somersworth (Somersworth, NH) to confront the Toppers in a Division III game on Friday, January 10. The Toppers go into the game with a record of 0-6. Somersworth lost 65-15 in their recent league game against Prospect Mountain (Alton, NH)
