North Carolina High School Basketball - Bethany Community overwhelms Clover Garden School

The Bethany Community Wolves basketball team scored 64 points and limited the visiting Clover Garden School Grizzlies to 39 in the Wolves non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Wolves now possess a 9-9 record. They play next when they travel to Carver for a 1A Northwest Piedmont game on Tuesday, January 14. Bethany Community will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 51-25 non-league win over Phoenix Academy (High Point, NC). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, Clover Garden School falls to 7-2 on the campaign. The Grizzlies travel to Chatham Charter (Siler City, NC) to confront the Knights in a 1A Central Tar Heel game on Thursday, January 9. The Knights go into the game with a record of 5-12. Chatham Charter won 41-30 in their recent league game against Triangle Math & Science (Apex, NC)
