In Wednesday's league contest, the host Bryant Owls basketball team scored a good 33-17 win over the Middle College Panthers.

The Owls (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Maspeth (Maspeth, NY). The Argos come into the PSAL 3A Queens II contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Maspeth defeated Grover Cleveland (Buffalo, NY), 39-31, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Academy of American Studies Eagles (Queens, NY) in a PSAL 3A Queens II contest, on Friday, January 10. Middle College will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 8-0 record after their 52-32 league win over Sinatra (Queens, NY).
