Maryland High School Basketball - New Town holds off Carver A&T

The New Town basketball team scored 41 points and limited the visiting Carver A&T Wildcats to 35 in the league triumph on Wednesday.

The now possess a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Eastern Tech for a Baltimore County 2 game on Friday, January 10. New Town will confront a Mavericks team coming off a 48-10 league win over Patapsco (Baltimore, MD). The Mavericks record now stands at 3-6.

With the loss, Carver A&T falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Overlea (Baltimore, MD) to confront the Falcons in a Baltimore County 2 game on Friday, January 10. The Falcons go into the game with a record of 4-2.
