In Wednesday's league test, the Malad Dragons (Malad, ID) basketball squad trounced the visiting Declo Hornets (Declo, ID), by a score of 53-15.
Next, the Dragons encounter the Soda Springs Cardinals (Soda Springs, ID) in a 3A South East Idaho test, on Friday, January 10. Malad will attempt to improve on its 13-1 season record. The Cardinals come into the test with a 6-7 record after their 49-35 non-league loss to Oakley (Oakley, ID).
The Hornets (4-10) will now prepare for their test against Buhl (Buhl, ID). The Indians come into the non-league test with a 2-11 record. In their last test, Buhl was routed by Canyon Ridge (Twin Falls, ID), 47-44, in a non-league test.
