The Firebirds (7-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Escondido Adventist Academy (Escondido, CA). The Hawks come into the Ocean challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, Escondido Adventist Academy trounced Maranatha Christian (San Diego, CA), 55-10, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Raptor battle the Liberty Charter Lions (Alpine, CA) in a Patriot challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. High Tech NC will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 29-24 non-league win over High Tech Mesa (San Diego, CA).
