In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Fort Bend Elkins Knights basketball team scored a big 62-17 win over the Fort Bend Clements Rangers.

The Knights (12-13) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Bend Hightower (Missouri City, TX). The Hurricanes come into the 6A Region III District 21 contest with a 21-5 record. In their last contest, Fort Bend Hightower smashed Ridge Point (Missouri City, TX), 74-49, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Rangers battle the Fort Bend Travis Tigers (Richmond, TX) in a 6A Region III District 21 contest, on Saturday, January 11. Fort Bend Clements will attempt to better on its 3-15 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 16-11 record after their 76-38 league win over Fort Bend Dulles (Sugar Land, TX).
