The Mount Desert Island Trojans (Mount Desert, ME) basketball toppled the host Foxcroft Academy Ponies (Dover-Foxcroft, ME), 48-34 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Trojans now possess a 7-2 record. They play next when they host Old Town for a B North bout on Tuesday, January 14. Mount Desert Island will play a Coyotes team coming off a 56-8 non-league win over Greater Houlton Christian Academy (Houlton, ME). The Coyotes record now stands at 7-5.

With the loss, Foxcroft Academy falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Ponies host Caribou (Caribou, ME) to play the Vikings in a B North bout on Saturday, January 11. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 8-1. Caribou won 55-39 in their recent league bout against Presque Isle (Presque Isle, ME)
