The Bruins (1-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Pajaro Valley (Watsonville, CA). The Grizzlies come into the PCAL - Cypress challenge with a 3-7 record. In their last challenge, Pajaro Valley trounced Seaside (Seaside, CA), 31-18, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Spartans encounter the St. Francis Sharks (Watsonville, CA) in a PCAL - Cypress challenge, on Friday, January 10. Seaside will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record. The Sharks come into the challenge with a 9-2 record after their 43-41 non-league win over Palma (Salinas, CA).
