North Carolina High School Basketball - Ledford sneaks past Wheatmore

The Ledford Panthers (Thomasville, NC) basketball edged the visiting Wheatmore Warriors (Trinity, NC), 48-46 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Panthers now possess a 11-2 record. They play next when they travel to Asheboro for a 3A Mid-Piedmont bout on Friday, January 17.

With the loss, Wheatmore falls to 10-4 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC) to play the Cougars in a 1A/2A Piedmont bout on Thursday, January 9. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 13-0. Southwestern Randolph won 63-37 in their recent league bout against Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC)
