Georgia High School Basketball - Manchester holds off Macon County

January 8, 2025: Manchester, GA 31816

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Manchester Blue Devils basketball team scored a close 43-37 triumph over the Macon County Bulldogs.

The Blue Devils (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Trion (Trion, GA). The Bulldogs go into the A D2 Region 7 contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Trion nipped Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, GA), 45-40, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the Crawford County Eagles (Roberta, GA) in a A D2 Region 6 contest, on Friday, January 10. Macon County will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 3-10 record after their 59-24 league loss to Marion County (Buena Vista, GA).
