The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Magna Vista Warriors (Ridgeway, VA) and the visiting Tunstall Trojans (Dry Fork, VA), observed Magna Vista's basketball team overwhelm Tunstall by a score of 61-14.

The Warriors (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Abingdon (Abingdon, VA). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 8-3 record. In their last challenge, Abingdon trounced Union (Big Stone Gap, VA), 54-40, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans encounter the Bassett Bengals (Bassett, VA) in a Piedmont challenge, on Thursday, January 9. Tunstall will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Bengals come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 55-39 non-league win over William Byrd (Vinton, VA).
