The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the New Plymouth Pilgrims (New Plymouth, ID) and the host Nampa Christian Trojans (Nampa, ID), observed New Plymouth's basketball team knock off Nampa Christian by a score of 54-34.

The Pilgrims (11-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Parma (Parma, ID). The Panthers come into the 3A Snake River Valley challenge with a 12-1 record. In their last challenge, Parma prevailed over The Ambrose School (Meridian, ID), 62-23, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Marsing Huskies (Marsing, ID) in a 3A Snake River Valley challenge, on Friday, January 10. Nampa Christian will attempt to improve on its 3-9 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 46-36 league loss to Melba (Melba, ID).
