In Wednesday's league contest, the host Woodland Beavers basketball team scored a big 66-34 win over the R.A. Long Lumberjacks.
The Beavers (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against Hudson's Bay (Vancouver, WA). The Eagles come into the 2A Greater St. Helens contest with a 0-10 record. In their last contest, Hudson's Bay was trounced by Battle Ground (Battle Ground, WA), 55-10, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Lumberjacks battle the Ridgefield Spudders (Ridgefield, WA) in a 2A Greater St. Helens contest, on Friday, January 10. R.A. Long will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Spudders come into the contest with a 2-8 record after their 56-51 league win over Washougal (Washougal, WA).
