The Dark Horses (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, West Bladen trounced West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC), 17-2, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors encounter the East Duplin Panthers (Beulaville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Eastern Wayne will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 28-5 non-league win over North Lenoir (LaGrange, NC).
