The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Cheshire Rams (Cheshire, CT) and the visiting Amity Regional Spartans (Woodbridge, CT), witnessed Cheshire's ice hockey team defeat Amity Regional by a final score of 3-1.

The Rams (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Trumbull (Trumbull, CT). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the North Haven Nighthawks (North Haven, CT) in a Southern Connecticut - DII challenge, on Saturday, January 11. Amity Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Nighthawks come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 8-2 non-league win over WMRP [Wethersfield/Middletown/Rocky Hill/Plainville] (Wethersfield, CT).
