The South Anchorage Wolverines ice hockey squad (Anchorage, AK), was nudged 5-4 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Eagle River Wolves (Eagle River, AK)

With the win, Eagle River moves its record to 5-8 on the year. The Wolves host Service (Anchorage, AK) to confront the Cougars in a Cook Inlet battle on Friday, January 17. The Cougars enter the battle with a record of 2-9.
