In Wednesday's non-league test, the Abingdon Falcons (Abingdon, VA) basketball squad defeated the visiting John Battle Trojans (Bristol, VA), by a final score of 41-30.
Next, the Falcons clash with the Ridgeview Wolfpack (Clintwood, VA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, January 14. Abingdon will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Wolfpack come into the test with a 2-0 record after their 49-38 non-league win over Richlands (Richlands, VA).
The Trojans (0-8) will now prepare for their test against Lee (Jonesville, VA). The Generals come into the non-league test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Lee went down by Gate City (Gate City, VA), 30-28, in a non-league test.
