In Wednesday's league contest, the host Lugoff-Elgin Demons basketball team scored a close 55-49 triumph over the Blythewood Bengals.
The Demons (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Ridge View (Columbia, SC). The Blazers go into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record.
In their next game, the Bengals confront the West Florence Knights (Florence, SC) in a contest, on Thursday, January 9. Blythewood will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record. The Knights go into the contest with a 2-4 record after their 45-29 non-league loss to Sumter (Sumter, SC).
