The Owen Warhorses basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting Brevard Blue Devils to 47 in the Warhorses non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Warhorses now possess a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Avery County for a non-league game on Monday, January 13. Owen will play a Vikings team coming off a 56-31 non-league win over Madison (Marshall, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, Brevard falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Chase (Forest City, NC) to play the Trojans in a non-league game on Thursday, January 9. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 2-6. Chase lost 54-29 in their recent league game against Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC)
