The Spartans (9-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lakewood (Roseboro, NC). The Leopards come into the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Lakewood prevailed over Pender (Burgaw, NC), 43-33, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans encounter the East Carteret Mariners (Beaufort, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 15. Jones will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Mariners come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 67-42 non-league loss to Croatan (Newport, NC).
