The Pioneer Mustangs basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting Leigh Longhorns to 35 in the Mustangs league triumph on Wednesday.

The Mustangs now have a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to More for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 14. Pioneer will confront a Knights team coming off a 65-19 non-league win over Apostles Lutheran (Santa Clara, CA). The Knights record now stands at 4-12.

With the loss, Leigh falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Santa Teresa (San Jose, CA) to confront the Saints in a game on Friday, January 10. The Saints go into the game with a record of 5-5.
