The San Marin Mustangs basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host Novato Hornets to 45 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Mustangs now possess a 6-7 record. They play next when they host Tamalpais for a game on Friday, January 10. San Marin will play a Red Tailed Hawks team coming off a 55-51 non-league win over Ukiah (Ukiah, CA). The Red Tailed Hawks record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Novato falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Terra Linda (San Rafael, CA) to play the Trojans in a game on Friday, January 10. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 4-5. Terra Linda lost 81-57 in their recent non-league game against Stuart Hall (San Francisco, CA)
