The Brookland Bearcats (Brookland, AR) basketball crushed the visiting Pocahontas Redskins (Pocahontas, AR), 62-37 in Monday's league test.
The Bearcats (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Trumann (Trumann, AR). The Wildcats go into the 4A Region 3 test with a 3-11 record. In their last test, Trumann was trounced by Forrest City (Forrest City, AR), 68-39, in a league test.
The Redskins now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they host Westside for a 4A Region 3 test on Friday, January 13. Pocahontas will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 59-53 league loss to Southside (Batesville, AR). The Warriors record now stands at 6-6.
