The West Lyon Wildcats basketball team (Inwood, IA), dropped 72-60 in Monday's league battle with the host Central Lyon Lions (Rock Rapids, IA)

The Lions now possess a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Okoboji for a Siouxland battle on Friday, January 13. Central Lyon will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 66-36 non-league loss to Spirit Lake (Spirit Lake, IA). The Pioneers record now stands at 3-8.

The Wildcats (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Hills-Beaver Creek (Hills, MN). The Patriots come into the non-league battle with a 1-6 record. In their last battle, Hills-Beaver Creek beat Red Rock Central (Lamberton, MN), 67-54, in a league battle.
