Stearns Minutemen (Millinocket, ME) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Central Red Devils (East Corinth, ME), 66-43 in a league bout.

With the victory, Stearns upgrades its record to 1-5 on the campaign. The Minutemen host Lee Academy (Lee, ME) to play the Pandas in a C North bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Pandas come into the bout with a record of 4-4. Lee Academy lost 79-58 in their recent league bout against Calais (Calais, ME)

Next up, the Red Devils play the Mattanawcook Lynx (Lincoln, ME) in a C North bout, on Wednesday, January 11. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Lynx come into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 63-60 league loss to Woodland (Baileyville, ME).
