The East Boston Jets basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Greater Lawrence Tech Reggies to 48 in the Jets non-league triumph on Monday.
The Jets now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Excel for a Freelance contest on Tuesday, January 10. East Boston will meet a team coming off a 85-28 non-league loss to Boston English (Boston, MA). The record now stands at 0-3.
The Reggies (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Northeast Metro RVT (Wakefield, MA). The Knights enter the Commonwealth - Upper contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Northeast Metro RVT was nudged by Notre Dame Cristo Rey (Lawrence, MA), 52-44, in a non-league contest.
