With the victory, Gulf Coast HEAT upgrades its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The travel to Sarasota Christian (Sarasota, FL) to play the Blazers in a 2A District 11 bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Blazers come into the bout with a record of 6-8. Sarasota Christian lost 30-26 in their recent non-league bout against Out-of-Door Academy (Sarasota, FL)

Next up, the Hawks play the Geneva Classical Academy Knights (Lakeland, FL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 12. Families Instructing Students HomeSchool will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 49-38 league win over Hillsborough Baptist (Seffner, FL).
