Virginia High School Basketball - Orange County can't hold off Fluvanna County

The Fluvanna County Flying Flucos basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Orange County Fighting Hornets to 60 in the Flying Flucos league triumph on Monday.
The Flying Flucos now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monticello for a Jefferson contest on Tuesday, January 10. Fluvanna County will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 77-36 league loss to Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-9.
The Fighting Hornets (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA). The Patriots enter the Jefferson contest with a 11-1 record. In their last contest, Albemarle nudged Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, VA), 72-51, in a non-league contest.
