Alabama High School Basketball - Southern Prep Academy topped by Glenwood

The Glenwood Gators basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host Southern Prep Academy Fighting Rangers to 47 in the Gators league victory on Monday.
The Gators now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Dale Academy for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 10. Glenwood will meet a Eagles team coming off a 59-41 league loss to Bessemer Academy (Bessemer, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 2-5.
With the defeat, Southern Prep Academy moves to 0-5 on the year. The Fighting rangers travel to Springwood (Lanett, AL) to meet the Wildcats in a AISA AAA Region 1 match on Thursday, January 12. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 8-8. Springwood lost 50-45 in their recent league match against Macon-East Montgomery Academy (Cecil, AL)
